How to Eliminate Fleas in Cats
Fleas are one of the most common issues in cats and one of the most stubborn. Even indoor cats aren’t immune. The good news? With the right approach, you can clear an infestation and keep them away for good.
Signs your cat has fleas
Excessive scratching or grooming
Tiny dark specks in their fur (flea dirt)
Visible fleas (especially around the neck or base of the tail)
Scabs, hair loss, or irritated skin

Use a vet-recommended flea treatment, not all shop-bought products are effective or safe. Spot-on treatments are common, but tablets or sprays may be more suitable in some cases.Treat all pets

Fleas lay eggs in carpets, furniture, and bedding. Use a veterinary-grade household spray and vacuum daily for at least a week, disposing of the vacuum bag after each use.Wash bedding and blankets
