Keeping your pet protected from the very start
Vaccinations protect our pets against dangerous diseases some of which can be fatal. In order not to over vaccinate our pets we follow a vaccine regime.
What do we vaccinate against?
Dogs: We protect against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo and Leptospirosis. Kennel cough is not a core vaccine but is advised if your pet attends doggy day care, kennels or if they regularly socialise in the park.
Cats: We protect against Leukaemia, Flu and Enteritis.
Rabbits: Routinely we protect against Myxomatosis and Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease (RHD /RHD 1). Due to new concerns of strains of RHD2 the current guidelines from Rabbit Welfare Association (RWA) advise injections of Nobivac Myxo and RHD plus - this vaccination is available at FAB Vets followed the new Yurvac Vaccination which is only available at certain rabbit specialists such as Evolution Exotics.
